Victoria Jackson — known for bringing No Makeup Makeup to market, a term she coined in 1986 — is now introducing a new innovation, No Fragrance Fragrance, co-created with her longtime collaborator, cofounder and chief executive officer Kim Wileman.
As Jackson explained, fragrance has always posed a challenge for her personally. "I'm very sensitive to fragrance, bordering on allergic," she said. "I wanted to create something congruent with, 'everything is about you,' and create a fragrance that was more of a whisper than a shout."
No Fragrance Fragrance, from the founders of No Makeup Makeup, introduces a first-of-its-kind "Fragrance Essence" - a subtle, adaptive formula that enhances your natural scent rather than masking it
Powered by FlexScent technology and inspired by cosmetics pioneer Victoria Jackson's grounding philosophy, it evolves with your chemistry and serves as a daily ritual of calm
Already one of Oprah's Favorite Things of 2025, the scent is revolutionizing the fragrance space
This delicate fragrance is in a league of its own: “It’s light, clean, and somehow becomes your own thanks to its FlexScent technology,” shares Oprah of this pick. The scent adapts to your unique pH—a rare gift for anyone on your list.
Winfrey says she almost never wears perfume, but she makes an exception for this one. The FlexScent Technology adapts to each person's skin pH, so it smells slightly different on everyone. With notes of peony, pink pomelo, ambrette, sandalwood, and musk, the fragrance is "light and clean," making it ideal for people who prefer soft skin scents.
"I almost never wear fragrance—I like the fresh scent of just stepping out of a shower—but this one won me over. It's light, clean, and somehow becomes your own thanks to its FlexScent technology (it adapts to your pH, with top notes of peonies, pink pomelo, and lily of the valley). A unique gift for the unique person on your list."
First, there was no makeup-makeup, now meet "No Frangrance Fragrance." According to the brand, it uses FlexScent technology to reveal a scent that is uniquely theirs.
"Plenty of foundations marketed as 'no-makeup makeup' end up being so sheer, they could more appropriately be named 'why-even-bother makeup.' Not this one: Housed in a compact, the cream formula - which you can swipe on with a brush or your finger - offers buildable coverage with a dewy, skin-like finish and completely weightless feel. It's a true makeup marvel, as far as I'm concerned. And with proper blending and setting, it doesn't settle into fine lines, which is a major win." —Steph
In a new Instagram Reel, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her recent trip to New York with Prince Harry—and her radiant beauty look is turning heads for all the right reasons.
According to No Makeup Makeup, the brand can confirm that the Duchess did her own makeup for each appearance in the Big Apple. Besides calling her favorite staples her “tried-and-true essentials,” she added that “when I want to glow, these are my go-to products.”
"No-makeup makeup" has been in our collective beauty lexicon for decades, but did you know it was officially coined by makeup artist Victoria Jackson in the '80s? Jackson launched her eponymous makeup line (called Victoria Jackson Cosmetics) in 1986 and actually trademarked the term "no-makeup makeup" since that was Jackson's entire philosophy when she formulated her product line.
My go-to these days is actually from No Makeup Makeup, and it’s a little compact with foundation and a sponge. It takes two seconds, and I love how my skin looks with it on. And lip liner just brings me to life, so I love Kylie’s Precision Pout liner.
"I don't want to look like I'm wearing makeup [in the summer], but I want to look a little better than I do without makeup. It's the easiest [product]. With the brush, it blends right into my skin. It evens out my skin tone, and that's all that I'm wearing this summer."
The cream foundation received the highest score for providing hydration, evening skin tone and concealing sun blemishes, according to testers. It also had a pleasant scent, but testers noted that it did not provide long-lasting coverage and had trouble blending it in.
"I liked that this doesn't have a noticeable scent to it. It is easy to apply onto my brush and on my face," says GH Beauty Lab Senior Chemist Danusia Wnek. "It spreads nicely and has medium coverage that conceals a bit of my red spots. I like the way the packaging looks."
On a random Tuesday night, I put the Markle-approved No Makeup Makeup Foundation to the test, and after much anticipation, I was blown away by the results. The Duchess of Sussex recently revealed via her official ShopMy account that the compact is one of her recommended beauty products, and anyone who tries it will understand why. It not only streamlined my makeup routine, but it also left my skin looking like I was wearing a beauty filter in real life.
Jackson actually trademarked the term "No Makeup Makeup" in 2002, after she concluded a 10-year QVC run that she says generated a billion dollars in sales for the network. Last year, she introduced a second brand, the on-the-nose-titled No Makeup Makeup, which sells a cream-balm foundation for $55. "People say it's trending now, but I don't think it's ever not been trending," Jackson points out. "There are always the women out there who want to look great but want to look like themselves."
After founding Victoria Jackson Cosmetics in 1989 and growing it into a QVC powerhouse—at its peak, the brand had more than 600 products and $1 billion in sales—Victoria Jackson stepped away from the beauty world to focus on a project close to her heart. Her daughter had been diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica, a rare autoimmune disease, and in 2008, Jackson and her husband founded a charitable trust to find a cure.
The foundation has supported 7,000 scientific publications and, in 2019, had its biggest victory: the FDA approved three life-saving treatments for the disease. Ever the multihyphenate, in 2024 Jackson launched No Makeup Makeup, a reimagining of the brand she'd built three decades earlier (and of the trend she pioneered before some of its Gen Z acolytes were born). In January, the company made its debut on QVC and had a million-dollar sellout within 24 hours.
The Finished Look:
According to her official ShopMy account, Meghan Markle is a huge fan of this lightweight foundation from No Makeup Makeup. The brand says the compact foundation features a four-in-one formula that "conceals, corrects, camouflages and diffuses" imperfections and is packed with skin-loving ingredients like jojoba oil and vitamin E. The coverage is buildable to your liking, with 13 different shades that use shade-adaptive "FlexShade technology" to enhance your natural complexion.
In addition to artists, beauty brands and founders were also honored: Academy award nominated actress Shoreh Aghdashloo presented Fragrance of the Year to Clive Christian, while Academy Award-nominated costume designer Arianne Phillips (A Complete Unknown) presented Outstanding Achievement in Photography to longtime friend Davis Factor, cofounder of Smashbox Studios. IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima presented Brand of the Year to industry pioneer Victoria Jackson for NO MAKEUP MAKEUP. Marjan Tabibzada (@YoungCouture) presented The International Beauty Award to Parfums de Marly for its Delina fragrance.
The Duchess uses the No Makeup Makeup Foundation ($55), so | grabbed the shade Fair to put it to the test. I have to admit, this product intimidated me at first. I'm typically a tinted moisturizer girl, and even then, I add in some facial oil to make the finish even more dewy. But this product turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I found the key is to pat the product in with a flat foundation brush to help it melt into the skin and ensure it doesn't look cakey. The compact itself comes with a sponge for easy application, but I'd suggest reserving it for touch-ups. This foundation provides excellent buildable coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
The Duchess of Sussex recently released her verified lineup of beauty essentials on her Shop My page. We're hyped over the mix of luxe finds, drugstore(!) favorites, and Allure Best of Beauty Award winners she uses daily, which we had verified by none other than Meghan's right-hand man in glam, makeup artist Daniel Martin.
When it comes to weightless yet even coverage, the No Makeup Makeup Foundation delivers. Aptly named, this cream-balm foundation is the secret behind Markle's always flawless skin. The multi-tasking formula works as a color corrector, concealer, and foundation.
This multitasking beauty buy is made to function as a color corrector, redness corrector, concealer and foundation all in one, providing a soft, blurring finish.
The beauty roundup further featured items from some of her friend's companies. Meghan included the Serum Stick and Dewy Skin Cream from Tatcha, which is run by her friend Vicky Tsai, as well as the Foundation from No Makeup Makeup, another business founded by her friend Victoria Jackson. Beauty moguls Tsai and Jackson both appeared on With Love, Meghan.
No Makeup Makeup, the second-act cosmetics brand by beauty veteran Victoria Jackson, has launched on QVC - where Jackson previously made history as the first person to sell color cosmetics. Launched in 2024, the brand features a single skin-like foundation in 13 flexible shades priced at $55.
Beauty mogul Victoria Jackson, known for revolutionizing the industry in the 80s with her "no makeup" makeup look, is making a comeback with her signature philosophy.
For makeup mogul Victoria Jackson, appearing on QVC for the first time in almost 22 years was like riding a bike-it was as if no time had passed. Jackson first rose to fame with her eponymous makeup brand in 1989, when she was light years ahead of her time and celebrated "no makeup makeup."
As for her newly formulated No Makeup Makeup foundation, Jackson calls it "the best product I ever made."
Available in 13 shades, the foundation's 4-in-l acts as a color-corrector, redness-corrector, concealer and foundation in one and is designed to enhance your own natural complexion.

Victoria Jackson dominated QVC with informercials in the 1990s. Her new brand is No Makeup Makeup®.
It’s in the name: This is a “no-fragrance fragrance.” Now, that doesn’t mean that it smells like nothing, or that it’s for people who want to smell like they’re not wearing perfume. (Okay, it’s a little bit like the last part.) But still, this scent—an “essence” concocted with FlexScent technology that adapts to your body temperature throughout the day and adjusts to emit earthy, floral, musky, or fruity notes—is meant to be as subtle, clean, and skin-like as they come.
